bluepool is a band
based in Manchester (UK), but originally from Dorset, England. The group is essentially
the musical identity of visual artist Kevin
J Pocock. Formerly one half of electronica music duo Delph, bluepool
was formed in the 1990s after Delph finished. Delph
had a number of CD releases on Phantasm, Rumour and Millennium Records
and live concert appearances at places such as Whirl-Y-Gig.
bluepool is essentially an art music group/venture plus collaborations and performances at everything from concerts, events, outdoor festivals, art galleries and academic shows to chill-out rooms at clubs. New releases from the band will be directly available from this site in mp3 format but commercial releases are planned for the future. The name bluepool is taken from the Blue Pool, a small lake near the beautiful Purbeck hills in Dorset... mp3s to download and other info coming soon... |
